David and I were on our way home from a weekend at Roaring River and had a few hours to talk to each other. It had been a long journey trying to have a child and we were both ready to move on. This was the day that David and I made the most important decision of our lives and decided to adopt. Our hearts were drawn to China. We filled out an application with Children's Hope International and two weeks later received our approval.
The day we were accepted by CHI (Children's Hope International) we had both families come over so that we could share the good news. They were all excited! Who knew what we were in for.
